How do I renew my SBI ATM card?

Please note that the Debit Cards whose validity is about to get expired is renewed automatically from back-end by the Bank. The renewed Card will have a new number (i.e., different from the number of the existing Card) and will also have a new PIN.

The renewed Card is sent to customers 2 to 3 months in advance. Please note that the existing Card will not be renewed if, at the time of renewal,

a. The account is not KYC compliant or PAN Number/Form 60 not updated in CBS,
b. The status of the Debit Card is blocked
c. The Card has not been used at all during the entire validity period, or
d. The primary account is inoperative/closed.

Further, please note that customers may apply for ATM card variant of their choice by visiting their home branch or through our internet banking portal. The detailed steps are:-

Navigate to e-Services > ATM Card Services (Left Side of the Screen under Quick Links) >Request ATM/Debit Card.

Select Primary Account number. (Default account number)

Select Secondary account number. (Optional)

Choose Card category from Debit card or My card

Under Debit card menu, customers get option of traditional ATM card variants to choose from.

Under My Card, customers get two options:-

Bank has rolled out a new functionality “My Card”-in this Personalized Image Debit Card is issued where you can choose the design/image to be printed on your card from the gallery of images provided by the Bank. Customers can choose the image from a gallery of images available at the portal.

Customers may choose the variant of debit card as per their choice and apply for the card.
Apart from our internet banking portal, customers may apply for debit card through our YONO SBI app as well. The process flow for applying for the same is:-

Navigate to Quick Links > Service Requests > ATM/Debit card > Request New/Replacement
Select the debit card variant of your choice and place the request.
